Saradish Roy Smriti Swasthya Bitan

Liver Foundation, West Bengal (LFWB) built up a rural health care research and intervention centre at Nagari Village in Birbhum. The centre is named as "Saradish Roy Smriti Swastha Bitan", after a noted physician of the people and social activist, who hailed from the village Nagari in Birbhum.

The foundation stone was laid by the Additional Director General, Indian Council of Medical Research- Dr. Sujit K Bhattacharya on 14th January, 2009. LFWB has established a public health facility here, where the peoples from nearby villages are being treated on a regular basis free of cost.

Starting from general diseases to liver disease, the organization has been providing OPD services at a nominal cost. A population health laboratory, dental clinic, physiotherapy clinic have also been developed for the rural people in this centre. Recently, a six (6) bedded day care centre along with Minor OT facility has been started to extend more facility to the rural people against a very minimum charge.
