Indian Institute of Liver and Digestive Sciences (IILDS; www.iilds.in) under the auspices of Liver Foundation West Bengal (LFWB; www.liverfoundation.in) envisaged a biennial international meeting on Pancreas “Kolkata Pancreas Meeting” with the intent of keeping gastroenterologists, basic scientists and students across the country at par with basics of and advances across various domains of Pancreatology.

The index meeting was held on 16-17th December 2023 in Kolkata and was made hugely successful by 150 delegates from across the globe. The theme of the index meeting was “Pathophysiological aspects of acute and chronic pancreatic diseases and clinical voids in their management”.

Our intent is to cover different aspects of basic and clinical pancreatology, as this biennial meeting grows over the years and keeps creating ripples in the field of Pancreatology.
