Policy Round Table Meeting on HBV and HCV prevention and care delivery in North-Eastern states of India was held on 10th September" 2017 at Indian Institute of Liver and Digestive Sciences" Sonarpur" in association with TATA TRUSTS. Health Officials of different North-Eastern states" NGOs and eminent media persons from this region" health agencies like" ICMR & WHO and different Pharmaceutical companies took part in this program.

On 28th July" 2017 Liver Foundation" West Bengal observed the World Hepatitis Day with a program entitled as "Let"s Work Together". This program was started with a rally from the front gate of Victoria Memorial. We have planned to engage different schools to observe "Hepatitis Hour" on 28th of every month throughout the year to make grand success the global movement of Word Hepatitis Alliance "Eliminate Hepatitis by 2030". Chowringhee High School" Bagbazar Multipurpose Girls High School" Scottish Church Collegiate School from Kolkata and Shishu Shiksha Kendra High School of Purulia" has given consent to observe "Hepatitis Hour". "Aajkaal"" the renowned Bengali Daily Newspaper" has agreed to publish our messages on hepatitis" free of cost" on 28th of every month" throughout the year.
