A whole day community awareness program on Hepatitis B was conducted on 7th August,2014 at Nandakumarpur G.P, Raidighi, South 24 Parganas, as Hepatitis ? B was detected in some families. By centralized meeting at G. P. Office, group meetings in different parts of the village and by door to door visit, sensitized the people of the area, about prevention of hepatitis and to eradicate the unhealthy stigma from the society.

To observe the World Hepatitis Day, a special type of day long awareness program, "Pledge to prevent Hepatitis" with our newly introduced ?Digital Pledge Instrument?, was organized by us, on 28th July, 2014, at the Esplanade Station of Kolkata Metro Railway. It was inaugurated by the famous Actor and Director Sri Debshankar Halder, who has been awarded as ?Sera Bangali? this year, at the presence of other eminent dignitaries. The program had drawn ample attention of the common people of the society and was convincing enough to explain the importance of sensitization regarding Liver Heath & Hepatitis.

?Tackle Hepatitis? ? first social networking website for e-health movement to present a Hepatitis free World, was launched on 21st January, 2014, by Liver Foundation, West Bengal, alongwith a Press Conference at St.Joseph?s College, Kolkata. The website was officially inaugurated by our Chief-Guest, the eminent footballer and coach Sri Subrata Bhattacharya.

An Awareness Camp on Liver Health and Hepatitis was held on 18th January at Charushila Bose Balika Vidyalaya, Baidyabati.

A musical event, "Rhythm " Electro" was held at EZCC, Kolkata on 4th January, 2014 with performances by musical maestro Bikram Ghosh and Saum G from USA.

A two day long summit with the grassroots was held on 28th and 29th December, 2013. All the grass-root advocates of Liver Foundation, West Bengal from the districts of Birbhum, Purulia, Murshidabad and Nadia assembled at Nagari, Birbhum for this event.

A Patients? Summit was organized on 22nd December, 2013 at Iran Society Hall in Kolkata. 30 members of the Hepatitis Patients? Forum joined the summit and participated actively in "Art Therapy" session. They were taught silk screen printing and how to make handicrafts with raw jute. The occasion also served as a great platform for the patients to interact and share personal experiences regarding their disease. In addition, a concept of e-diary and digital art therapy for the patients was inaugurated through video Skype conference with Pinar Sahin, Healthcare Practice Leader from PlaceForPeople, technology partner of the initiative.

Metabolic Health awareness program regarding "Life-style disease, effects of exercise & Diabetes" at Shibpur, Rampurhat block and Tankipara, Bolpur block in Birbhum was held on 24th and 25th September, 2013 respectively.
