A school awareness program was held on 5th May,2014 at National English School, Baguiati, Kolkata, on Liver Health & Hepatitis as well as the introduction of ?Tackle-Hepatitis?, the e-health movement, to empower the students to present a Hepatitis-Free world.

A whole day workshop with the members of Hepatitis Patients? Forum was organized at Iran Society Hall, Kolkata on 1st May, 2014 on the occasion of the visit of Ms Phangisile Mtshali Manciya, Director of BMSF.

Participated in a community awareness program on ?Liver Health & Hygiene? held at Surendranath Vidyaniketan Auditorium, Sheoraphuli on 5th April,2014, organized by Sheoraphuli Sukanta Smriti Sangha.

A ?sit-n-draw? competition was organized by Liver Foundation, West Bengal for the patients of Hepatitis Patients? Forum on the eve of 175th Birth anniversary of Jamshedji Tata, a CSR initiative of CMC Ltd, Kolkata.

Awareness program regarding ?Liver Health & Hepatitis? as well as ?General Health & Hygiene? was held at Rautari High School for Girls?, Chakdaha, Nadia on 21st February, 2014.

?Tackle Hepatitis? ? first social networking website for e-health movement to present a Hepatitis free World, was launched on 21st January, 2014, by Liver Foundation, West Bengal, alongwith a Press Conference at St.Joseph?s College, Kolkata. The website was officially inaugurated by our Chief-Guest, the eminent footballer and coach Sri Subrata Bhattacharya.

An Awareness Camp on Liver Health and Hepatitis was held on 18th January at Charushila Bose Balika Vidyalaya, Baidyabati.

A musical event, "Rhythm " Electro" was held at EZCC, Kolkata on 4th January, 2014 with performances by musical maestro Bikram Ghosh and Saum G from USA.

A two day long summit with the grassroots was held on 28th and 29th December, 2013. All the grass-root advocates of Liver Foundation, West Bengal from the districts of Birbhum, Purulia, Murshidabad and Nadia assembled at Nagari, Birbhum for this event.

A Patients? Summit was organized on 22nd December, 2013 at Iran Society Hall in Kolkata. 30 members of the Hepatitis Patients? Forum joined the summit and participated actively in "Art Therapy" session. They were taught silk screen printing and how to make handicrafts with raw jute. The occasion also served as a great platform for the patients to interact and share personal experiences regarding their disease. In addition, a concept of e-diary and digital art therapy for the patients was inaugurated through video Skype conference with Pinar Sahin, Healthcare Practice Leader from PlaceForPeople, technology partner of the initiative.

Metabolic Health awareness program regarding "Life-style disease, effects of exercise & Diabetes" at Shibpur, Rampurhat block and Tankipara, Bolpur block in Birbhum was held on 24th and 25th September, 2013 respectively.

School advocacy program on general health & hygiene, liver and Hepatitis was held on 18th September, 2013 at "Bhabta Netaji High School (H.S)" & "Kalitala Diar R.J.K. High School" in sargachi, Murshidabad.

"Dr. Chandrakant Patil Memorial Health Dialogue" was held at "Haripada Sahitya Mancha" Purulia, on 12th September, 2013. The lecture was attended by the Municipal Chairman of Purulia, Mr. Tarakesh Chatterjee, M.P, Mr. Narahari Mahato, eminent gynaecologist, Dr. Sanatan Dutta, ex Additional Director of Health services, Dr. Chandan Kumar Sen & respected Nirmalananda Maharaj. 11 students of Purulia district who have joined different medical colleges of the state this year for their medical studies have been awarded the "Dr. Chandrakant Patil memorial Award". This event was also held at Suri, Birbhum, on 15th September, 2013. 12 students of Birbhum District who have qualified in the medical entrance examination & joined various medical colleges this year received the "Dr. Chandrakant Patil memorial Award". Eminent personalities who were present in this award ceremony include- SDO of Birbhum district, Mr. Chandranath Roy Chowdhury, ex Principal of Path Bhaban, Mr. Chanchal Bannerjee, ex Head-master & present Assistant Headmaster of Birbhum Zila School, Mr. Shibnath Chakraborty & Mr. Debobrato Mukherjee respectively. The cultural programs were held after the award ceremony in both places.
