(a) On 28th July, World Hepatitis Day was observed. An exhibition by Hepatitis Patients? Forum was held at Iran society, Kyd Street, Kolkata-16. Greetings cards, Flower vase, handkerchief & different handicrafts made by the patients were displayed and offered for sale in the exhibition. This exhibition was inaugurated by Pandit Bickram Ghosh & eminent Film Director Mr. Goutam Halder. DR. Ashokananda Konar- President of Liver Foundation, DR. Kalyan Bose,-vice-President of Liver Foundation were also present in this occasion. The district centers of Purulia, Birbhum, Sargachi and Kalyani also participated in a global event organized by World Hepatitis Alliance by performing the ?See no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil? sequence by a magnanimous number of people all around the globe. (d) Awareness program on Hepatitis B, general health & hygiene at ?Purulia Zila School? in Purulia was held on 27th July, 2013. (e) Awareness program on Hepatitis B, general health & hygiene at ?Khudibandh High School? in Purulia was held on 28th July, 2013.

Awareness Program on Hepatitis B, C and liver health was held on 14th July, 2013 at "Parnashree club", Behala, Kolkata, which was organized by "Paschimbanga Bigyan Mancha".

On 13th July, 2013, Awareness Program on Hepatitis B and general health was held at "Simurali Upendra Vidya Bhaban" at Simurali, Nadia.

On 30th June, 2013, Liver Foundation, West Bengal celebrated its eighth foundation day. The district centers of LFWB organized Anti Spitting and Cleanliness Drive Campaign in different hospitals and public places. The venues of the event were Purulia, Kalyani, Sargachi and Birbhum. In this program, the public was made aware of the harmful effects of spitting in public places as well as the importance of cleanliness at hospital premises and other open spaces.

The 65th birth anniversary of WHO, World Health Day was celebrated by Liver Foundation, West Bengal on 7th April, 2013 in a slightly different approach. The Hepatitis Patients? Forum, an initiative of Liver Foundation, West Bengal, formed "Self Help Group" of Hepatitis patients who succeeded to raise some funds by selling their artworks at different places. A portion of this fund was donated to two members of the group to offload their treatment expanses to some extent who are really in need at this moment. This occasion was celebrated in the presence of the Famous vocalist Smt. Lopamudra Mitra & eminent actor Sri Saheb Bhattacharya. Many well known print and electronic medias were present there. The program was held at Iran Society auditorium, 12 Kyd Street, Kolkata-700016.
